Kunes Auto Group is hiring an Inventory Manager in Wisconsin (Platteville) to maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and keep precise records. The role supports purchasing with regular reports and strong supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in inventory control, good math and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in inventory control or a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication skills with warehouse staff, purchasing, and vendors.
• Solid understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Proficient keyboarding and experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Extremely organized and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and navigate a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Order new supplies as inventory levels dwindle, staying within pre-authorized limits.
• Establish and maintain backup sources for high-demand items.
• Review inventory reports to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provide inventory reports and insights to the purchasing manager.
• Develop strong working relationships with vendors for optimal support.
• Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Oversee the inventory management system and facilitate upgrades as needed.
• Perform spot checks and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
• Operate a forklift when necessary.

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to take charge of our inventory control and play a vital role in our organization's success. In this role, you'll help ensure we have everything needed to keep operations running smoothly by maintaining inventory levels, ordering essential supplies, and keeping precise records.

Compensation

• $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Requirements
