Job summary

iDC Logistics Inc. in Bath, PA is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory control at our Bath distribution center.

This role is responsible for maintaining 99.98%+ inventory accuracy, leading the inventory team, managing cycle counts and audits, resolving variances, and improving inventory processes. The Inventory Manager collaborates with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, and customers to ensure inventory integrity, accurate reporting, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of inventory control or warehouse operations experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong WMS experience required.
  • Experience with cycle counting, physical inventories, variance reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and customer-service orientation.
  • Experience in high-volume 3PL or multi-customer distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 99.98% or greater inventory accuracy across customer inventories.
  • Lead and develop the inventory control team, including workload, performance, and training.
  • Manage cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure inventory adjustments are accurate, documented, approved, and completed timely.
  • Monitor inventory activity across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, transfers, and shipping.
  • Maintain inventory SOPs, controls, and standardized work.
  • Review inventory KPIs and exception reports and communicate results to leadership.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inventory requests, audits, and reporting.
  • Partner with Operations to resolve inventory issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Train warehouse employees on inventory procedures and transaction accuracy.
  • Drive improvements that reduce inventory errors, product loss, and customer chargebacks.

Description
Position Summary

IDC Logistics is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory control at our Bath, PA distribution center. This position is responsible for maintaining 99.98% or greater inventory accuracy, leading the inventory team, managing cycle counts and audits, resolving variances, and improving inventory processes.

The Inventory Manager partners with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, and customers to ensure inventory integrity, accurate reporting, and timely issue resolution. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular presence on the warehouse floor.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of inventory control or warehouse operations experience, preferably in a distribution center or 3PL environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
  • Softeon WMS experience preferred.
  • Experience with cycle counting, physical inventories, variance reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑service skills.
  • High-volume 3PL or multi‑customer distribution experience preferred.

  • Inventory Accuracy: = 99.98%
  • Timely variance resolution and reconciliation.
  • Accurate inventory adjustments.
  • Reduction in recurring inventory discrepancies.
  • Must work 100% onsite at the Bath, PA distribution center.
  • Ability to walk and work on the warehouse floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment, racking, docks, and active operations.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as operational needs require.
