Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an OEM Pack Out Area Specialist for our Rochester, NY production team. This role focuses on accurate packing, labeling, and preparation of OEM products for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure products meet company standards, maintain production quality, and support efficient distribution. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines across long shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience.
• Knowledge of order processing to support revenue shipments.
• Proficient computer skills, including Oracle EBS, Agile, and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented OEM Pack Out Area Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production and distribution processes.

• Multitasking ability to work concurrently between multiple software programs.


• Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.


• Ability to stand for majority of shift (shifts are 10 hours)


• Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.


• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.


• Suggest and implement improvements to packing processes.


• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $38,000- $71,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
