Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory and accountability records for Government and program equipment, components, supplies, and support material.
• Perform receiving, inspection, identification, labeling, storage, issue, staging, kitting, shipment, and return-to-stock activities.
• Execute PHS&T activities to protect assets from damage, loss, deterioration, or improper handling during storage and transportation.
• Maintain asset information including part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, condition, location, custody, and movement history.
• Conduct physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy research with corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, transfer, inventory, and material-movement documentation per approved procedures.
• Coordinate material movement and asset availability with engineering, test, logistics, property, maintenance, and program personnel.
• Identify shortages, excess material, damaged items, shelf life concerns, and provide timely recommendations to leadership.
• Support warehouse organization and material-handling practices to promote safety and accountability.
• Support test, fielding, and operational surges by staging, tracking, shipping, and recovering required equipment.

We are seeking a PHS&T and Inventory Management Specialist to support the NSWC Crane Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division (MXQ) across division programs and customer requirements. The specialist will support Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), inventory accountability, material movement, receiving, storage, staging, and shipment of Government and program assets. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure assets are properly identified and protected, and coordinate material availability in support of engineering, test, fielding, sustainment, and other division-wide mission activities.

This role requires in-person support.

Duties:

• Maintain accurate inventory and accountability records for Government and program equipment, components, supplies, and support material.
• Perform receiving, inspection, identification, labeling, storage, issue, staging, kitting, shipment, and return-to-stock activities.

• Support test, fielding, and operational surges by preparing, staging, tracking, shipping, and recovering required equipment and material.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree.

Required Experience:

• 0-3 years experience as it relates to the duties listed.
• Ability to learn and perform receiving, storing, staging, issuing, shipping, and tracking of equipment and material in an accountable environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reconcile physical inventory against electronic records or databases.
• Ability to prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, transfer, inventory, and property-accountability documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inventory discrepancies, damaged material, shortages, and documentation errors.
• Ability to coordinate material requirements and priorities across multiple technical and program stakeholders.
• Ability to safely move and handle equipment and material in warehouse, staging, and operational environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and inventory or logistics information systems.

Desired Experience:

• Experience preparing shipping, receiving, transfer, inventory, or property-accountability documentation.
• Experience receiving, storing, staging, issuing, shipping, and tracking Government, military, or commercial equipment and material.
• Prior experience in inventory management, material control, warehouse operations, supply support, PHS&T, or comparable logistics activities.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, NAVSEA, NSWC Crane, or comparable defense programs.
• Experience supporting Electronic Warfare, Counter-UAS, Counter-IED, UAS, or expeditionary systems and associated support equipment.
• Familiarity with IUID, ERP, WMS, DSS, OM&S, PP&E, or comparable Government inventory and accountability systems.
• Experience with DD Form 1149, DD Form 1348, Government property transfers, or audit-ready material-management processes.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-2073-1, shelf-life management, or other DoD PHS&T requirements.
• Forklift certification or experience safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
