SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is seeking five Air Force Supply Planner Support Specialists (Inventory Management Specialist) to support the 638th SCMG at Robins AFB, GA. Positions are on-site in Warner Robins, GA area with core hours 9:00 AM–3:00 PM ET. Local hires or relocation candidates eligible.

Background check and Letter of Intent will be required. Responsibilities include item management, demand planning, and optimizing asset distribution for Air Force assets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must have at least eight years of experience in Air Force supply chain management.
• US citizenship is required and an active Secret clearance is necessary.
• Experience with item management, procurement and inventory control for Air Force assets.
• Ability to analyze data and optimize asset distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify requirements, manage item requirements, and oversee execution.
• Validate repair requirements and manage organic/contract arrangements.
• Procure items and maintain supporting documentation.
• Optimize global asset distribution based on customer needs.

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is seeking five Air Force Supply Planner Support Specialists (Inventory Management Specialist, IMS) to support the 638th Supply Chain Management Group at Robins AFB, GA. These positions are contingent upon contract award. This position is intended for local hires residing in the Warner Robins, GA area, or candidates willing to relocate, as working on‑site is required. Selected candidates will be asked to provide a resume and sign a Letter of Intent for inclusion in SSE's proposal.

This position provides expert item management and supply chain optimization services to ensure the efficient and effective distribution and sustainment of Air Force assets worldwide. You will leverage in‑depth knowledge of supply chain principles, repair procedures, logistics processes, and Air Force budgetary systems to manage items, analyze data, and optimize asset distribution. This includes leading, guiding, and motivating personnel while applying specialized analytical techniques to resolve complex inventory management problems.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Requirements identification/development, item management, and requirements execution.
• Validating repair requirements, and initiating and managing organic/contract arrangements.
• Procuring items and maintaining documentation.
• Optimizing global asset distribution based on customer needs.
• Analyzing data to determine optimal demand planning methods and resolving complex inventory problems.
• Preparing reports and briefings for management and customers.
• Applying knowledge of logistics planning, programming, and budgeting systems.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Secret clearance required (interim clearance not acceptable).
• Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC) and installation access at Robins AFB.
• Exceptional understanding of Air Force weapon systems logistics, including:
• Supply plans and sourcing strategies to keep Air Force weapon systems operational.
• Tracking of structural parts, armament, instruments, and engines.
• Management of inventory so parts get to the flightline and repair depots faster.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities required.

Education and Experience

• Must have at least eight (8) years of experience in Air Force supply chain management performing tasks associated with the supply planner/inventory management functional area described above.

Work Location

Work location will be Robins AFB, GA, on‑site five days per week (40 hours per week). Duty hours must include core hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern, with flexible start/end times available between 6:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–6:00 PM. Teleworking is not planned and is authorized only when required by the Government. Some travel may be required, subject to advance Government approval.

• Site visits to operational, production, and warehouse sites may be required.
• Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
