This inventory planner position will work in the office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Manage inventory in a way that maintains continuity of supply to end users in a timely, cost-efficient manner. Responsibilities include analysis of data to make decisions for channel optimization, conversions, and adjustment of inventory settings. Monitor inventory across the enterprise ensuring there is enough to support the practice but maintain an efficient stocking level. Analyze data to determine if the product meets the stocking criteria in the distribution centers and act on products that should be removed from the distribution center. Coordinate product conversions with multiple departments and regions to minimize supply disruption and expense for the practice. Participate in a variety of operational, technology and/or multi-disciplinary projects and work groups within Supply Chain Management and related areas.
Work closely with operations to coordinate projects and assist in efficiencies. Perform root cause analysis to understand the circumstances and take action to prevent it from happening again. Recognize and bring forward opportunities to advance the enterprise in standardization and other efficiencies. Consults and collaborates with procurement and contracting regarding vendor management. Must have the ability to comprehend the variables in setting the inventory levels through the lifecycle of the product. Be able to pivot workload when an urgent situation arises. Take into consideration many factors to make the best decision for the situation that will satisfy the customer. Need to have the ability to address matters professionally and provide a resolution that benefits all. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret and analyze data.

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of three years’ experience in Inventory Control required. Knowledge of ERP and WMS systems and Microsoft Excel a must, and understanding Lean principles strongly desired.
