Smithville Communications is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support daily operations—receiving, storing, and staging inventory to ensure field technicians have materials on time. You will forecast needs, manage supplies, and collaborate with technicians, vendors, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and safety. You will operate forklift equipment and handle various warehouse activities in a climate-controlled environment with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer-facing experience.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures in a physically active environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse/inventory software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store incoming products; enter receivables.
• Process supply requests and pack shipments according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
• Conduct physical inventories and labeling/packing tasks as needed.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck safely.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
