Job summary

Visual Edge IT in Lexington, KY is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory control and logistics, including parts, supplies, equipment, shipping, receiving, setup, and warehouse operations.

You will maintain accurate inventory records, monitor levels, coordinate outbound logistics, support month-end processes, and work with Procurement, Sales, and Warehouse to improve inventory efficiency and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong business acumen with inventory control and logistics knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple inventory activities with accuracy.
• Experience with ERP/inventory systems (E-automate preferred).
• Excellent Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory control and logistics activities across locations.
• Develop work plans and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Implement SOPs and improve inventory control practices.
• Oversee on-site and off-site warehouse activities.
• Plan outbound logistics for finished goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to leadership.
• Support month-end processes and RTV reviews.
• Ensure lease returns and DocRecords scanning accuracy.
