Job summary

EchoStar in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage the flow of satellite dishes, receivers, DVRs, and related hardware in the warehouse and for field deployments. You will support internal teams and customers with accurate inventory control and shipments.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack operation, flexible hours including weekends, and adherence to safety standards. This position provides exposure to a large logistics network and critical supply chain functions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Utilize computer systems and inventory tracking programs to manage and update records.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, with overtime compensation.
• Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and may lift up to 125 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Document the quantity and type of equipment stocked in the warehouse and vans for installations and service calls.
• Maintain an accurate physical count of van and warehouse inventory on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Receive returned equipment, stock inventory, and record distributed hardware in the tracking system.
• Complete daily inventory transactions and link to proper accounts.
• Prepare equipment shipments to remote employees with accurate documentation and timely delivery.
