Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Leader to own upstream governance for Long Lead Equipment within the Power & Cooling Post-Delivery organization.

You will oversee storage governance, ensure accurate inventory tracking, and maintain full visibility across multiple storage vendors and sites. You will collaborate with software, hardware, supply chain, and security teams to enable on-time commissioning while controlling costs and maintaining equipment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience.
• 6+ years of related industry experience.
• 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
• Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own storage and inventory governance for long-lead equipment (LLE), ensuring the organization knows what it holds, in what condition, and where.
• Establish receiving-inspection standards and equipment condition standards for third-party storage locations.
• Drive active inventory tracking and full on-hand visibility on demand, resolving unvalued or unreconciled inventory.
• Coordinate with Amazon Cloud Logistics for movement of equipment into, between, and out of storage; issue advance shipping notices.
• Forecast storage capacity with third parties against build direction and growth/decline.
• Provide inventory confidence enabling redundancy and spare parts, supporting the Critical Spare Parts program.
• Measure success by inventory accuracy, governed visibility, and elimination of storage surprises to enable on-time PFHO.
