Job summary

Convoy Supply Inc, a leading distributor of construction materials, seeks an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator in Spokane Valley. You will manage inbound and outbound shipments, process walk-in pickups, handle returns, and coordinate interbranch transfers to maintain accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of inventory management experience including cycle counts and stock level monitoring.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • ERP experience is an asset.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or administration.
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Professional oral and written English communication.
  • Experience in high volume/transaction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound shipments and confirm receipt; ensure timely processing of goods.
  • Inspect incoming products against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Track and resolve order discrepancies with vendors and purchasing agents.
  • Process outbound shipments and walk-in customer notes in the system.
  • Oversee returns with proper documentation and handling per policy.
  • Coordinate interbranch transfers to move stock efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through regular cycle counts and reorder alerts.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers, branches, and third-party clients/vendors.
  • Handle data entry and associated paperwork for transactions.
  • Support other warehouse functions including stock organization and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Key duties include overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, processing walk-in pickup documentation, handling returns, coordinating interbranch transfers, monitoring inventory levels, and reconciling stock counts with system records. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments to confirm accurate receipt and timely processing of incoming goods.
  • Inspect incoming product shipments for accuracy by comparing the physical stock to the purchase orders.
  • Report and resolve order discrepancies by contacting the vendor and purchasing agent.
  • Process outbound shipments and delivery notes of walk-in customers to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner within our computer system.
  • Oversee the return process for goods, including proper documentation and handling procedures, per company policy.
  • Coordinate and process interbranch transfers to maintain smooth inventory movement between locations.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory by performing regular cycle counts and contacting the purchasing group/agent to reorder when stock is low.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers, other branches, and third-party clients and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
  • Manage data entry and file paperwork for necessary transactions.
  • Provide support to other warehouse functions as needed, including assisting with stock organization, labeling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with inventory management including cycle counts and monitoring stock levels.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Previous ERP experience is asset
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or administration.
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills are required.
  • Adaptable to work independently on tasks and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in high volume/transaction environment.
