Job summary

The French's Food Company, a subsidiary of McCormick & Company, Inc., is hiring a Warehouse Technician Associate I for the Springfield, MO plant. The WTA I will ensure locator accuracy, back-fill the Warehouse Crew Leader, and support inventory control.

The role reports to the Warehouse Department Manager and emphasizes SOP compliance and process improvements. Position requires 3+ years of warehouse experience, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong data/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse or production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and repeatedly.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents including safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write complex reports and correspondence.
• Fluent with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain locator accuracy for all warehouse locations at the Springfield plant.
• Maintain and report all inventory-related KPIs and metrics.
• Back-fill the Warehouse Crew Leader as needed.
• Run inventory-related reports as primary owner or backup.
• Provide directions to team on SOPs and locator accuracy standards.
• Develop, document, and train SOPs related to locator accuracy and inventory control.
• Participate in training and process improvement activities with production and warehouse teams.
