Inventory Lead

Oversee and optimize inventory management and warehouse operations to ensure efficient product flow and storage.

About The Role

The Inventory Lead is responsible for managing inbound and outbound products at our facility. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and high-quality deliveries, proper storage, maintaining warehouse organization, overseeing inventory, and communicating shortages or damages to buyers. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating procurement and production.

Schedule: 5 days per week, including Sundays, from 6:00 am with a flexible end time (2:30-4:30 pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct drivers for unloading deliveries into designated staging areas.
• Verify received products against PO and BOL, ensure quality, and document in WMS.
• Maintain receiving logs, verify product specifications, and complete FSQA documentation.
• Transfer and store products appropriately on receipt.
• Optimize pallet configurations and warehouse space.
• Maintain warehouse organization for smooth operations and upcoming production.
• Ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance.
• Support production tasks during low-volume days.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Complete daily tasks and assist in training warehouse staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience with RF scanners and WMS.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -10°F to 75°F.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Inventory Lead, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Forklift certification.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.
• Experience with food storage preferred.
• Material Handling Equipment and Food Handlers certifications or willingness to obtain them.
