Job description

Position Description
The Inventory Processor Team Lead is responsible for posting all inventory transactions to the general ledger. This includes new manufacturer, used auction, dealer trades and other used vehicle purchases. They will also train and mentor the inventory processors.

Essential Requirements

1. An understanding of General Accounting Principles
2. A general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
3. Experience in automotive accounting
4. A good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

Essential Responsibilities

1. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval
2. Ensure all inventory is posted to the general ledger timely, accurately and within company guidelines
3. Ensure all auction sales are posted to the general ledger timely and within company guidelines
4. Ensure compliance with all audit key controls
5. Review exception reports daily and ensure all correcting entries are posted
6. Train and mentor inventory processors
7. Implement continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce errors
8. Monitor processing metrics to ensure all transactions are being posted timely
9. Other duties as assigned
