Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking an Inventory Lead to ensure accurate inventory records and smooth product flow from the fulfillment center. You will work with receiving, packing, and shipping teams to minimize disruptions and uphold food safety standards.

The role requires experience in refrigerated environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to train new associates while lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Comfort working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends if required.
• Capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with receiving, packing, and shipping to ensure smooth product flow in the fulfillment center.
• Monitor inventory and resolve discrepancies promptly to prevent disruptions.
• Adhere to SQF Food Safety Code and GDP guidelines on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain accurate stock levels in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits with warehouse leadership to minimize downtime.
• Enforce FIFO practices to ensure product quality and freshness for customers.
• Provide guidance and training to inventory associates on SOPs.
• Support compliance with regulatory and internal food safety policies.
