Job summary

GoBolt is seeking an Inventory Lead for our Buena Park, Los Angeles facility to oversee daily inventory control operations and ensure accurate, compliant receipt of products. You will liaise directly with a major client while maintaining high accuracy, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, reporting, and coordinating with receiving, fulfillment, procurement, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in inventory control/fulfillment with strong customer service.
  • Experience with WMS and cycle counting methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • OSHA safety knowledge and compliance.

We are on the lookout for an Inventory Lead for our Buena Park, Los Angeles facility, who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily inventory control operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant receipt of a wide range of products into our warehouse. This role involves maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and productivity and liaising directly with one of our large clients. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, a background in inventory control or warehouse management, strong customer service skills and communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role Details

Schedules: 4 days, 10 hour shifts

  1. Sunday to Wednesday 6am - 4pm
  2. Wednesday to Saturday 6am - 4pm

Pay rate: $20-22 per hour

Location: 5600 Knott Ave, Buena Park CA 90621

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and tracking of inventory delivered to the warehouse;
  • Perform and coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy;
  • Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, shrink, and damaged goods, and implement corrective actions;
  • Provide regular reports on inventory accuracy and other key performance metrics to operations leadership and directly to the client;
  • Address and resolve issues related to damaged or missing inventory in real time;
  • Use of tools including but not limited to WMS platforms, RF scanners, carts, hand trucks, and dollies;
  • Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;
  • Participate in regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;
  • Implement and maintain inventory control processes and procedures to maximize accuracy and efficiency;
  • Liaise with other departments, such as receiving, fulfillment, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve discrepancies;
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in an inventory control/fulfillment environment and proven customer service experience;
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and cycle counting methodologies;
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities;
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations, including OSHA standards;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
