Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Inventory Specialist, Maintenance (Starlink) in Bastrop, TX. You will manage inbound materials, pick parts for development projects, and ensure inventory accuracy to support Starlink production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include overseeing backlogs, receiving/issuing materials, and coordinating with multiple departments to resolve receipt and distribution issues while maintaining proper handling and traceability of items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of inventory control experience.
• 3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse (preferred).
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Must be eligible to satisfy ITAR export regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of RFI/backlogs to ensure material is received and delivered on time.
• Support daily/weekly team meetings to improve inventory readiness for projects.
• Receive, store and issue raw material, parts, and hardware for shop operations.
• Monitor consumables and ownership of overall process flow.
• Perform picking to assemble kits of parts and materials.
• Coordinate with shipping, receiving, planning, QA, purchasing and other teams to resolve material receipt issues.
• Ensure proper material handling, traceability, and correct serial numbers.
