Job summary

PITCO Foods, a large independent foodservice distributor based in San Jose, CA, seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accuracy in stock, oversee daily cycle counts, and support auditors during year-end inventory. You will work with receiving, pricing, A/P, and purchasing to ensure correct items and locations in the system.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow safety procedures, and capability to operate forklift equipment as needed. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bi-lingual a plus but not required.
• Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate count of all merchandise and oversees inventory processes.
• Investigates and corrects daily inventory discrepancies.
• Audits reports and product pricing for accuracy; takes corrective action.
• Coordinates with Loss Prevention to track shrink, theft and damaged goods.
