Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring for an Inventory Control Specialist in Belleville, MI. You will ensure accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and support quality fulfillment services.

The role requires attention to detail, analytical thinking, and teamwork to resolve discrepancies and maintain efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities include physical inventories, data entry, and coordinating special orders while complying with ISO/quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of combined warehouse and inventory control experience.
• Excellent math, reading, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for quality fulfillment services.
• Coordinate cycle counts as scheduled or on request.
• Perform physical inventory as scheduled or on request.
• Report, reconcile and research inventory discrepancies.
• Verify system SKU, description, location, and label.
• Input and verify inventory and system updates.
• Handle Delete/Damage material processes as requested.
• Coordinate special orders and client viewing as needed.
• Resolve item inquiries and document variance causes.
