Job summary

Crutchfield Corporation is seeking an Inventory Handler for the Charlottesville Returns Processing Center. The role focuses on packing orders, picking items, and preparing shipments with attention to accuracy and timeliness.

The shift is 2nd Shift B (Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm) with a starting wage of $18.45 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and more; opportunities for forklift certification and career growth are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This facility serves as the focal point for sending out various large consumer electronics, such as large screen TVs and floor-standing speakers, to customers across the country. What We Do

In this role, our Inventory Handlers are primarily responsible for packing orders that are placed throughout the day and getting those orders shipped out to our customers. Our Inventory Handlers process each order individually so that they arrive on time and intact. Each item is picked from its primary location using forklifts and stock pickers, processed, then loaded onto a trailer to be sent out to the customer. Since they handle the final steps in the ordering process, in many cases our they have the most impact on the customer's over all experience.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to routinely lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Overhead reaching/lifting
• Ability to navigate a step ladder/regular ladder
• Operating automated equipment
• Picking and packing products
• Operating a handheld scanner
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Cleaning and organizing
• Replenishing inventory
• Loading or unloading trucks
• Willingness to become forklift certified
• Previous forklift experience is a plus
