Qualifications

• Reads production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Maintains inventory as items are received, stored and distributed.
• Uses a computer to enter records and track materials.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move, gather or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks and shelves according to product code or size.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or packing stations.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares pallets for shipment.
• Marks materials with identifying information and records amounts received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items and to pick up items.
• Maintains inventory records and prepares parcels for mailing.
• Follows HACCP standards and maintains safe handling practices.
