Baer’s Furniture, Florida's premier furniture and mattress retailer, is seeking an Inventory Forklift Operator for our Distribution Center in Pompano. The role supports the Inventory Control team with cycle counts and accurate records, using lifts to access high storage racks up to 40 feet.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in warehousing, 1 year in inventory/cycle work, and a strong commitment to safety and OSHA standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years general warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating a lift truck to reach up to 40 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and assist Inventory management to resolve issues.
• Ensure correct labeling and staging of rewrapped product for put-away.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with safety and OSHA compliance.
• Perform dock checking, picking, and staging to support Delivery and Customer Pickup.
• Operate radio frequency equipment and maintain a clean warehouse floor.
• Meet productivity standards set by the company.
