Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Flow Inventory Associate in Pleasanton, CA to maintain inventory accuracy, handle vehicle receiving and shipping, and keep lot merchandising clean and organized.

You will perform photo station uploads for carmax.com listings, assist with title transfers, and support EH&S requirements in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

This role emphasizes integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation trainings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
