Job summary

BuyWander is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Inventory in Sacramento, CA to own warehouse execution and inventory flow. This role leads the end-to-end process from inbound to customer delivery, driving throughput and accuracy while coordinating with the GM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or distribution operations.
• Detail-oriented and disciplined about accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
• Clear communicator who surfaces problems early, proposes solutions, and keeps the right people informed.
• Comfortable with technology, including inventory systems, barcoding tools, Google Workspace, and internal dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound freight flow and truck-arrival readiness.
• Own processing productivity, throughput, backlog reduction, and listing execution.
• Own inventory location accuracy and 5S execution.
• Own picking productivity, accuracy, and cost-per-unit.
• Lead end-to-end flow from pick to customer and ensure handoffs are effective.
• Manage physical inventory discipline and cycle-count execution.
• Develop daily labor deployment and adjust in real time.
• Lead warehouse startups, monitor backlog and recovery needs.
• Oversee warehouse organization, aisle standards, and visual inventory controls.
• Ensure warehouse safety compliance and lead supervisors and leads.
