Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years prior working experience managing inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and shipping and receiving.
• Must be proficient in utilizing inventory management/tracking software and tools.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Must understand inventory management principles and best practices.
• Must have experience operating a hi-lo.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving. Oversee the shipping and receiving of new inventory items, inspecting them for quality, accuracy, quantity, and documentation.
• Parts Procurement. Support procurement processes and fulfill internal stock requests with Finance and external suppliers.
• Inventory Monitoring. Continuously monitor inventory levels to maintain correct stock sizes.
• Inventory Accuracy. Maintain accurate records through counts and reconciliation, addressing discrepancies.
• Inventory Audits. Conduct regular audits to verify physical vs recorded inventory.
• Stocking and Reordering. Determine reorder points and quantities to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Problem Resolution. Address inventory issues like stockouts and discrepancies promptly.
• Inventory Optimization. Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and reduce waste.
• Reporting and Analysis. Generate reports on turnover, aging, and stock levels.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping. Keep precise transaction records using inventory software.
• Technology Utilization. Leverage software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Test Equipment and Tools Support. Track and calibrate test equipment as needed.
• Fleet Vehicle Support. Coordinate vehicle logistics and procurement as required.
• Compliance and Collaboration. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; coordinate with finance, HR, and maintenance.
• Training. Provide education on inventory best practices to staff.
