Job summary

EFE Laboratories Inc. in Perkasie, PA is seeking an Inventory Specialist to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, and coordinate shipments to support production needs.

You will partner with production, purchasing, and logistics to maintain accurate inventory, perform regular audits, and drive process improvements in a non-exempt role reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; other supply chain education preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Skills: strong organization, communication, and problem-solving; familiarity with ERP and MRP/Kanban.
• Quality training: Kaizen, ISO-9000, AS9100, Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing activities to ensure timely material supply and shipment.
• Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Assign orders to kitting, monitor progress, ensure timely completion.
• Develop storage systems and procedures for space utilization and efficiency.
• Perform regular inventory audits and resolve stock issues.
• Coordinate disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Operate forklift as needed for material handling.
• Plan and schedule shipments with transportation services.
