Job summary

Rune manufactures data centers the way the best hardware companies manufacture products: fast, repeatable, and built to scale. The Materials Planning Manager will own inventory accuracy across the company, with visibility from receiving dock to deployed site.

Based in Mountain View, you will work with manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations to align physical counts with financial records, build real-time dashboards, and drive end-to-end planning across multiple hardware programs.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply/materials planning, or inventory operations, preferably in hardware.
Experience building forecasting models that hold under supply constraints.
Experience diagnosing and resolving recurring supply shortages through root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Build a rolling demand forecast leveraging sales, production, and historical consumption across hardware programs.
Run and maintain MRP to convert demand plans into time-phased orders.
Set and tune safety stock targets and reorder points per part with lead-time risk and costs.
Own end-to-end purchase order planning—quantities, timing, and supplier commitments.
