Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Rochester, MN is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory balance across the supply chain for assigned customer activity. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to support on-time deliveries, minimize costs, and maintain ERP parameters for planning.

The role requires strong analytical skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS certification preferred.
• 3-5 years in purchasing or planning accounts/commodities.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers to understand their planning system and Benchmark's processes.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize carrying costs.
• Owns and maintains ERP parameters driving component and assembly planning.
• Monitors and reports inventory levels and generates action plans to meet site inventory goals.
• Interacts with customers, suppliers and internal teams for AVL choices and cost reduction opportunities.
