Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Data Entry/Clerical Support Specialist to join the Operations team in Kansas City, MO. You will input and manage customer inventory data within the Safekeeper system, ensuring accuracy across digital and physical records.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of high-volume data entry or records management experience, the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, and a strong eye for quality control. This is a full-time role with a 8:00–4:30 schedule at 6501 Beacon Drive.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in high-volume data entry or records management with clerical and customer support experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance plus customer credentials as needed.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and basic quality control auditing functions.
• Proven ability in problem-solving and task prioritization, managing multiple data streams.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end data input process by accurately keying label, location, and contract information while resolving exceptions and closing work orders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with customers, account managers, and internal project teams to research and resolve data discrepancies and provide receipt acknowledgements or requested reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards by performing scanning, auditing, and document preparation to guarantee high-quality electronic images and secure product delivery.
