Job summary

Clayton is hiring a Cycle Counter / Janitor in Phil Campbell, AL to count and monitor warehouse inventories, ensure accuracy, and support audits. The role includes light office janitorial duties and data reporting to improve inventory procedures.

The candidate should be self-driven with strong math, analytical, and organizational skills, and comfortable reading shipping/receiving documents while collaborating with the Inventory Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Proficient in basic math and data analysis.
• Experience with reading shipping/receiving documents.
• Inventory or warehouse management experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts using ABC analysis.
• Prepare and execute counts, report count results.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; root-cause analysis.
• Audit warehouse for accuracy of product storage and labeling.
• Conduct weekly audits of damaged or slow-moving materials.
• Assist Inventory Manager with variances in perpetual records.
• Respond to inquiries from Accounting; support audits of receiving/shipping docs.
• Assist with light janitorial duties in the office.
