Job summary

Sysco Arizona (Division of USA I) is seeking a detail-oriented inventory clerk to perform cycle counts and maintain records of stocked items. You will investigate count discrepancies, support quality checks, and assist with the recall process.

This role also serves as Will-call Clerk on scheduled Saturdays. Responsibilities include ensuring count integrity, performing quarterly cycle counts, researching variances, and verifying transfers between cooler and freezer, with strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory via cycle counting.
• Cycle counts the warehouse at least four times per year and for all slots.
• Perform quality checks on date sensitive, slow-moving and obsolete items.
• Research causes of weight variances and handling issues in warehouse moves.
• Check FIFO items for proper rotation and verify reserves.
• Verify put-away and transfer processes for day/night staff.
• Initiate and document product transfers from cooler to freezer.
• Review management reports and research inventory shrink causes.
• Coordinate will call orders when scheduled.
