Job summary

You will count and monitor physical inventory, maintain records, communicate variances to management, and ensure data integrity with internal controls. Experience in inventory control and basic lumber knowledge are preferred, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year of inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of inventory internal controls and company procedures.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Counts and tracks physical inventory
• Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
• Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
• Records inventory counts in the accounting system
• Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
• Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
• Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
• Performs other duties as required
