Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Cycle Counter Clerk in Chandler, AZ to track and balance inventory of materials and to record counts in the system accurately. You will identify root causes of variances and ensure compliance with internal controls while maintaining clear communication with management.

The role requires at least one year in inventory control, basic lumber math knowledge, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

High school diploma is required.
Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area.
Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species.
Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Counts and tracks physical inventory.
Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts.
Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management.
Records inventory counts in the accounting system.
Investigates any inventory discrepancies and documents corrections.
Ensures accuracy of information in the system and compliance with internal controls.
Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.
Performs other duties as required.
