Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Rock Hill, SC seeks an Inventory Counter to ensure accurate quantities in the Manufacturing Operating System. You will count parts, identify discrepancies, and safeguard materials while collaborating with assemblers to maintain smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include annual counts, reporting results, and driving continual system improvements. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, forklift certification, and PC proficiency; BPCS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years of cycle counting experience.
• Must be able to operate a PC with Windows, Word, Excel, and Email.
• Forklift certification is required.
• BPCS knowledge or inventory cycle counting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-shelf stock quantities in the Manufacturing Operating System are correct.
• Accurately count all parts inventory during the year.
• Help determine and eliminate causes of inaccurate inventory quantities.
• Identify and isolate nonconforming inventory when discovered.
• Continual improvement of the system.
• Report results of counts.
• Search for misplaced inventory as needed.
• Safeguard all materials during counts.
• Work with assemblers to avoid workflow interruptions.
• Follow all company policies, including health and safety.
• Work closely with cycle count team leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
