Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Materials Cycle Counter in Hanover Park, IL. This role conducts daily inventory counts, audits variances between system records and physical stock, and performs root-cause analysis to resolve discrepancies and support smooth production flow.

You will use RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System, collaborate with Operations and Purchasing, and safely operate Stand-Up Reach Forklifts while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Ability to analyze variances and identify root causes in inventory data.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems for inventory control.
• Experience operating stand-up reach forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Strong teamwork with operations, purchasing, and scheduling to improve accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counting and auditing using RF scanners and WMS to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies from receiving, BOM, routing, or picking errors.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing and Production Scheduling to maintain system integrity.
• Safely operate powered equipment, including Stand-Up Reach Forklifts, in warehouse/plant areas.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow PPE and site safety protocols.
