Auer Steel & Heating Supply Co. is hiring a Cycle Counter at our Plymouth, MN location. You will maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with team members to ensure reliable stock.

The role suits an organized, detail-oriented individual. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to safely operate forklifts; training on our Epicor Prophet 21 system is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to manage a cycle count process and understand inventory management.
• Ability to safely operate fork trucks and cherry pickers to move product.

Responsibilities

• Count products in warehouse locations using RF/hand-held scanner.
• Perform daily cycle counts and adjust inventory as needed.
• Resolve and report discrepancies to management.
• Move products between locations within the warehouse.
• Report over/under amounts and damaged items to supervisors.
• Learn and use Epicor Prophet 21 warehouse system.
• Operate forklift or cherry pickers to move products.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Ensure item setups, including SKU, are correct in the system.
• Utilize Excel reports to monitor inventory discrepancies.
