Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter for our Wilkes-Barre, PA warehouse. You will count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies, documenting discrepancies to keep accurate inventory records for efficient fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs, operate an electric pallet jack, and work with AS400 or SAP using Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to count inventory and apply strong math skills while using adding machines.
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Experience with inventory systems such as AS400 or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create total inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures.
• Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Review and investigate daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
• Understand how departments impact inventory and its integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
