Job summary

ABC Liquors, Inc. is seeking warehouse staff to support inventory counting and control in a fast-paced environment. You will perform daily cycle counts, monitor inventory integrity, and ensure accurate locations and lot codes across our distribution network.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years counting experience, solid computer skills (WMS, Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Cherry picker certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of inventory counting, or inventory management experience required.
• Solid computer skills, including Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook.
• Mathematical skills to count, add, subtract, and multiply as needed in position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Logical reasoning ability to sort out issues.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience using WMS (Manhattan) scanner.
• Experience and/or certification in cherry picker operation.
• 19 years of age or older.
• Must pass both drug and background checks prior to starting work.
• Must speak and understand job-level English.
• Have a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthy.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts
• Monitor and control inventory integrity
• Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
• Research inventory discrepancies
• Work with Inventory Control Coordinator
• Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
• Determine reason for discrepancy; follow-up with proper manager to correct issue
• Occasionally operate cherry picker or other machinery to reach items on high shelves for counting
• Perform physical inventories, random or receipt audits, and reconciliations
• Operate a cherry picker to reach some of the warehouse inventory
