Job summary

Great Dane LLC in Statesboro, GA is seeking a Cycle Counter to monitor warehouse inventory and perform cycle counting to ensure accuracy across materials and reports. The position requires reading blueprints and bill-of-materials, operating an overhead crane with fall protection, and maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Employee must be able to effectively complete counts, including using scales and RF Gen scanner.
• Employee must be able to work with computers and inventory software.
• Employee must safely operate material handling equipment, including overhead crane and fall protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform counts of parts and materials.
• Enter information into the computer database.
• Identify and resolve material discrepancies with appropriate authority.
• Ensure materials are in proper locations and locate misclassified items.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed and assist with receiving materiais.
• Assist in unloading items off trucks using overhead crane and fall-protection systems.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and visitors.
• Follow all safety and security procedures relevant to job duties.
• Support Nonconforming Materials Coordination (NMC) when required.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Participate in year-end inventory.
• Monitor work order completion and timeliness.
• Reconcile internal and external dunnage inventory.
