Job summary

Great Dane, a longtime leader in transportation solutions, seeks a Cycle Counter at its Brazil, IN Plant. You will monitor warehouse inventory, perform cycle counts, and help maintain accuracy across material receipts, transfers, and issues.

You will operate material handling equipment, read blueprints and BOMs, and support receiving and year-end inventory activity. Certification in crane and fall protection is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete counts using RF Gen scanner, scales and related equipment.
• Proficiency with computers and inventory software for data entry.
• Operate material handling equipment including overhead crane and fall-protection systems.
• Read drawings, bill-of-materials and related documentation.
• Strong math and measurement skills; attention to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform counts of parts and materials to confirm inventory accuracy.
• Enter counts into computer systems and reconcile variances with authorities.
• Maintain proper locations and search for misclassified items or negative inventory.
• Operate material handling equipment and assist receiving as needed.
• Support year-end inventory and ensure proper tag scanning for dunnage.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and plant personnel.
