Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter in the Wilkes-Barre area to conduct counts of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory records and quality assurance in warehouse practices.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 65 lbs, operate an electric pallet jack, and familiarity with AS400 or SAP. This is a full-time, on-site position offering benefits and stable hours.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create total inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from records.
• Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Prepare list of depleted items and recommend survey of defective/unusable items.
• Review and investigate daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
• Understand how different departments impact inventory and its integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
