Job summary

Core-Mark International in Solon, OH is seeking an Inventory Auditor/Cycle Counter responsible for counts and researching efficiencies in inventory processes. You will count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies to provide inventory records for the warehouse, ensuring quality assurance in warehouse practices.

The cooler and freezer environments can range from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C). Freezer jackets are provided to employees working in cold areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1+ years experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Willingness to obtain certified powered equipment operation (e.g., forklift).

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock to create inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from records.
• Verify clerical computations against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make efficiency recommendations.
• Prepare inventory reports including balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Investigate depleted items and survey defective/unusable items.
• Review daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintain shrink at or below company standard.
• Understand how different departments impact inventory and integrity.
