Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Counter to provide timely and accurate inventory accounting and to source products as needed. The cycle counter will contribute to a safe, efficient warehouse operation with first-rate technology.

The role includes daily counts, damage reporting, data entry, and verification of shipments. Benefits start after 60 days and there are growth opportunities within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English to perform tasks safely and accurately.
• Ability to perform accurate visual inspections and data entry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily location cycle counts and daily local purchase counts.
• Perform daily damage reporting and data sheet entry.
• Perform critical counts/shorts and warehouse out of stocks.
• Compile and submit daily out of stock/ship confirmation reports.
• Verify bill of lading and receiving quantity.
• Other duties may be assigned at supervisor's discretion.
