Job summary

Neogen Corporation is seeking a cycle counting professional to join our warehousing team. The role focuses on accurate cycle counts, variance analysis, and driving inventory improvements while collaborating with colleagues across the facility.

Responsibilities include physical inventories, maintaining forklift certification, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work Mon-Fri. Neogen offers a stable, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Recent cycle counting/inventory control experience within last 5 years preferred.
• ERP, MS Office and email proficiency essential.

• Perform cycle counts based on schedule and with team lead.

• Work closely with Neogen employees during cycle counts and inventories.

Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts based on schedule provided to Team Lead
• Perform cycle counts on Sales Force shipping errors, where incorrect quantity is indicated
• Analyze the variances, report on conclusions, and recommend process improvements
• Work closely with other Neogen employees, during the cycle counts
• Will be involved in physical inventories
• Maintain a current valid certification for forklift use.
• Any other assignments or projects as given by team lead supervisor or manager

Education and Experience

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent; Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years; Recent experience with Cycle Counting/inventory control, 1-3 years preferred.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations.

Computer Skills

Experience with ERP, Microsoft Office Suite, and email
