JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Cycle Counter at Cornerstone Building Brands, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the integrity of our materials management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of data systems and financial analysis, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across various departments in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and dynamic environment.

• Performing Cycle Counts: Counting and recording inventory levels for specific items or areas within the window manufacturing facility.
• Inventory Reconciliation: Comparing counted quantities with system records and identifying discrepancies.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigating reasons for inventory variances and making recommendations for improvement.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments in the company's inventory management system.
• Collaboration: Working with other departments like shipping, production, and quality control to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Equipment Usage: May involve operating material handling equipment like forklifts to move and count inventory.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for ensuring the integrity of inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills are needed to manage the cycle counting process and maintain records.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is helpful.
• Experience with inventory management software (AS400) and other inventory data systems is a plus.
