Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an organized inventory control/Will-call Clerk to maintain accurate records and support cycle counts in the Texas warehouse. The role includes daily counts, quality checks, and assisting with product recalls as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring count accuracy, researching discrepancies, and coordinating Saturday will-call orders. Requires high school diploma and 1 year of experience preferred, with strong communication skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Proficient in basic math and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory integrity through cycle counting and related duties.
• Cycle count the warehouse a minimum of four times a year across all pick and reserve slots.
• Perform quality checks on date sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
• Research causes of weight variances and issues from warehouse moves.
• Proactively verify FIFO rotation and proper put-away processes.
• Coordinate will-call orders on scheduled Saturdays.
• Review stock levels and recoup functions as needed.
