Job summary

The Storeroom Attendant role at The Employee Connect is based in East Hartford, CT. Work is on-site during the 2nd shift, with a 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM schedule and a 30-minute lunch, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend overtime.

The assignment is a 3-month contract with potential extension or temp-to-hire. Responsibilities include unloading and receiving materials, cycle counting, issuing items to site staff, and maintaining accurate stock records in the inventory system.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of cycle counting and inventory tasks.
• Experience in warehouse environments preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and store incoming product and equipment.
• Sort, label and arrange items for storage to optimize space.
• Issue product to site employees and track issuances.
• Enter data in inventory system and maintain stock records.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory maintenance.
• Request requisitions to replenish stock and log discrepancies.
• Inspect tools, deliver to locations and locate misplaced items.
