Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Inventory Clerk to record and maintain control of inventory items purchased and produced. The role ensures compliance with internal controls and contributes to accurate stock levels in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 0–3 years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with cycle counting and basic data analysis tools such as Oracle. Safety training and forklift experience are assets for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Switchgear units is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure (fraction and decimal), metric to imperial conversions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ABC analysis to determine cycle count schedule.
• Work on Oracle to analyze data and adjust discrepancies.
• Manage cycle function and count adjustments.
• Analyze cycle count adjustments to develop root cause and countermeasures.
• Perform cycle counting and coordinate inventory with accounting.
