Job summary

Alphia is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Woodland, WA to manage cycle counts, aging inventories, and disposal of obsolete packaging. You will prepare accurate documentation, support manufacturing activities, and coordinate customer disposition requests.

The role requires teamwork, independence, and solid math and Office skills. Responsibilities include leading year-end inventories, auditing locations, and answering inventory questions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required.
• Two years prior experience in supply chain preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is required.
• Basic math skills i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills are desired.
• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Prepare and complete accurate, timely documentation and transactions that follow established protocols for inventory control. Support all manufacturing activities as requested including disposition of customer materials and locating materials.

Occasional overtime or extended work hours required. The employee may be frequently exposed to allergens and/or airborne particles in the production area. Production employees are exposed to temperatures ranging from 50 to 115 degrees, depending on the season and workstation, and may be working near moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.

The noise level in the work environment may be loud while production equipment is running.

Personal Protection Equipment (including, but not limited to, boots, gloves, safety glasses, and/or face shields) is required during various processes in the production area. Ear plugs and bump caps are required at all times in the production area.
