Job summary

Lakeland is seeking an Inventory and Cost Accounting Specialist to maintain accurate inventory and costing data across our manufacturing operations, while supporting standard cost processes and ensuring financial visibility.

This role partners with Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and Supply Chain to investigate variances, reinforce costing controls, and contribute to month-end close and ERP integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in inventory or cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in GAAP, standard costing, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support standard costing for manufactured and purchased inventory.
• Analyze variances including PPV, labor, and overhead.
• Reconcile inventory records to GL and perform cycle counts.
• Prepare inventory reserves and support month- end close.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost-control processes.
